For small motors, reactors and relays, pure iron or low-silicon steel sheet; for large motors, high silicon hot-rolled silicon steel sheet, single-orientation or non-orientation cold-rolled silicon steel sheet; transformers are often selected single-orientation cold-rolled silicon steel sheet. In the frequency of use, commonly used strip thickness of 0.2 ~ 0.35 mm; in the use of 400Hz, often choose 0.1 mm thickness is appropriate. The thinner the thickness, the higher the price.
